Terms and Conditions

All Para Pole Athletes are required to be registered disabled in their country of residence and meet the paralympic category rules.

All athletes are requested to wear their national tracksuit and a t-shirt for the country they are representing. This should be in conjunction with the IPSF federation/competition or alternatively coordinated by the athletes if qualification was from an open competition. This should be worn at all times for the duration of the competition apart from when the athlete is on stage to compete including finals day even if not qualified. The tracksuit will be worn when the athlete is called to stage for the qualification result announcements and for the medal ceremony. Athletes who do not have a relevant national tracksuit will not be allowed to compete. We advise that athletes representing the same country discuss tracksuits and purchase the same design.
Please be advised that bare feet are required on stage at all times. No shoes, uggs, slippers or socks.

All transport and accommodation will be at the cost of the athlete. All athletes will be required to be present from 23rd to 27th October 2024.

All competitors will be given a WPAC Athletes' weekend pass. Only IPSF approved coaches can apply for a coaches' pass which will give access to the training area. Coaches applications must be received by 1st September. Due to the limited space it is strictly forbidden for coaches, family and friends to be allowed back stage unless they are assisting you. The exception: youth athletes and para pole athletes will be granted permission for one chaperone back stage. Recognised IPSF coaches are coaches who have passed the Code of Points Training and met the IPSF coaches criteria, and have applied to be both a National and World's coach. Thischaperone ticket MUST be booked and paid for upon application.

We are offering one free chaperone ticket for para pole athletes. Please contact ipsf-athletes@ipsfsports.org to apply for this ticket.

All athletes must adhere to the IPSF ethical code of conduct. It is forbidden for the athletes to talk to judges regarding all matters concerning World Pole and Aerial Championships. All requests for feedback must be relayed to the competition organiser. All athletes must maintain the highest level of professionalism throughout the competition and during all media interviews before/after.

Applications not meeting IPSF criteria will be rejected with no refund of the application fee.

Please contact the IPSF immediately if you have any allergies that may effect your competition.

The cost of the application is stated above, and is applicable per routine. This must be paid at the time of application. Applications will not be processed before receipt of the application fee. Unsuccessful applications will not be refunded. By signing this application form and taking part in the World Pole and Aerial Sports Championships you agree to waive all rights to video and photographic images taken at the World Pole Sports Championships. Should you wish to opt out you may contact the IPSF directly via email to ipsf-athletes@ipsfsports.org.

All associated TUE cost will be met by the athlete. The IPSF currently does not have the funding to provide this service for free.
