All athletes are requested to wear their national tracksuit and a t-shirt for the country they are representing. This should be in conjunction with the IPSF federation/competition or alternatively coordinated by the athletes if qualification was from an open competition. This should be worn at all times for the duration of the competition apart from when the athlete is on stage to compete including finals day even if not qualified. The tracksuit will be worn when the athlete is called to stage for the qualification result announcements and for the medal ceremony. Athletes who do not have a relevant national tracksuit will not be allowed to compete. We advise that athletes representing the same country discuss tracksuits and purchase the same design.
Please be advised that bare feet are required on stage at all times. No shoes, uggs, slippers or socks.
All transport and accommodation will be at the cost of the athlete. All athletes will be required to be present from 23rd to 27th October 2024.
All competitors will be given a WPAC Athletes' weekend pass. Only IPSF approved coaches can apply for a coaches' pass which will give access to the training area. Coaches applications must be received by 1st September. Due to the limited space it is strictly forbidden for coaches, family and friends to be allowed back stage unless they are assisting you. The exception: youth athletes and para pole athletes will be granted permission for one chaperone back stage. Recognised IPSF coaches are coaches who have passed the Code of Points Training and met the IPSF coaches criteria, and have applied to be both a National and World's coach. Thischaperone ticket MUST be booked and paid for upon application.
We are offering one free chaperone ticket for para pole athletes. Please contact ipsf-athletes@ipsfsports.org to apply for this ticket.
All athletes must adhere to the IPSF ethical code of conduct. It is forbidden for the athletes to talk to judges regarding all matters concerning World Pole and Aerial Championships. All requests for feedback must be relayed to the competition organiser. All athletes must maintain the highest level of professionalism throughout the competition and during all media interviews before/after.
Applications not meeting IPSF criteria will be rejected with no refund of the application fee.
Please contact the IPSF immediately if you have any allergies that may effect your competition.
The cost of the application is stated above, and is applicable per routine. This must be paid at the time of application. Applications will not be processed before receipt of the application fee. Unsuccessful applications will not be refunded. Athletes who withdraw due to injury after the application deadline will not have their entry fee refunded. Athletes who withdraw before the application deadline due to reasons not associated with injury will not have their entry fee refunded.
By signing this application form and taking part in the World Pole and Aerial Sports Championships you agree to waive all rights to video and photographic images taken at the World Pole Sports Championships. Should you wish to opt out you may contact the IPSF directly via email to ipsf-athletes@ipsfsports.org.
All associated TUE cost will be met by the athlete. The IPSF currently does not have the funding to provide this service for free.

Not For Profit Information
What Company Limited by Guarantee?
Guarantee companies are useful for non-profit organisations that require corporate status. This means that its profits are not distributed to its members but are retained to be used for the purposes of the guarantee company. Of course this does not mean that the guarantee company cannot make a profit, as indeed it is almost paramount that it can and does so. Where an organisation is likely to enter into contracts it may need the benefit of limited liability to protect its Board of Trustees and its members, who may be involved on a voluntary basis. The following are examples of these contracts
- Employment contracts
- Purchasing land, buildings or property
- Contracting with service or product providers
- Contracts with fund raisers
A guarantee company provides a clear legal identity. This provides the ability for the company to own property in its own name and a democratic structure where its participants are required to adhere to the strict laws and regulations governing limited companies generally.
What are the differences between a company that is limited by guarantee and a company that is limited by shares?
A guarantee company does not have shares. The members of the company do not own the company but are the decision makers for the company. This means that the profits of the company cannot be distributed to the members through dividends and that they do not have any claim upon the assets of the company. The members of the company may appoint Directors often called 'Trustees', who are given the responsibility for creating and implementing policies for the company. The Directors also enjoy limited liability, provided that they have not acted negligently, or fraudulently, and have not allowed the guarantee company to continue trading when it was insolvent (this is known as "wrongful trading").
What is the constitution of the company?
The constitution of the company limited by guarantee is the Memorandum & Articles of Association. The Memorandum sets out the objects of the company and the powers of the company may be exercised to meet these objects.
The Articles of Association state when meetings of the company will be held and proceedings of the meetings. They also state the voting rights of members, number of trustees and the powers of the trustees. The Articles also include the procedures for appointing and retirement of members and trustees. This is a brief overview to provide an understanding of the constitution of the International Pole and Aerial Sports Federation.
